Asker, Norway, 14 March 2025 — TOMRA Recycling has been awarded the EcoVadis Platinum Medal — placing it in the top 1% of companies assessed by the global sustainability ratings platform. The recognition reflects TOMRA Recycling’s performance across four key areas: environment, labour and human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement.
EcoVadis is one of the world’s most trusted business sustainability rating providers, evaluating more than 130,000 companies across 180 countries. The Platinum Medal is its highest distinction and is awarded to organisations that demonstrate outstanding, systematic and measurable sustainability performance.
A Commitment Embedded in Strategy
TOMRA Recycling scored particularly highly in the environmental category, reflecting its work to reduce the carbon footprint of its own manufacturing operations, as well as its contribution to the broader decarbonisation of the material recovery sector through its sensor-based sorting technology.
