#WeAreTOMRA: Meet Christian, Mechanical Design Engineer

Christian is a passionate mechanical design engineer from Indonesia. His journey took a major turn in 2013, when he was awarded a DAAD scholarship to study in Germany. He completed his M.Sc. in Systems Engineering & Engineering Management in 2015 – and Germany has been his second home ever since. Before joining TOMRA in August 2023, he worked for several years as a mechanical design engineer in the semiconductor industry, gaining valuable experience that he now brings into his work at TOMRA.

#WeAreTOMRA: Meet Lorena Medrano, Financial Controller

Born in Argentina, Lorena studied Economics at UADE University and started her career by taking on her first controller role in a pharmaceutical company at 23. Even though she enjoyed her work, she felt she hadn’t travelled enough and wanted new experiences. So she stepped out of her comfort zone, moved abroad, and started again from scratch. Today, she lives in a quiet town in Catalonia, surrounded by beautiful landscapes, and enjoys life there with her family. Lorena joined TOMRA in 2019 at our Roses office as Finance Manager for Iberia.
